Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize 2021

Who may enter
The award is open to any poet writing in English who has not had a full-length book of poetry published previously.  A “full-length book” of poetry is defined as a volume of 48 or more pages published in an edition of 500 or more copies.

The competition is administered by the University of Pittsburgh Press, Pennsylvania, United States.

The Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize is a literary award for a first full-length book of poetry in the English language.

You may submit a manuscript of 48 to 100 typescript pages.

Entry fee
The entry fee is $25 per manuscript.

The prize carries a cash award of $5,000 and publication by the University of Pittsburgh Press in the Pitt Poetry Series.
