Deadline
30 August 2021
Who may enter
The competition is open to emerging writers. Self-published writers and writers with story collections are welcome to submit. Writers with novels published with small circulations (around 5000 copies) can also submit.
Details
The competition is organised by The Masters Review, an American literary magazine and book publisher.
We don’t have any preferences topically or in terms of style. We’re simply looking for the best. We don’t define, nor are we interested in, stories identified by their genre. We do, however, consider ourselves a publication that focuses on literary fiction. Dazzle us, take chances, and be bold.
You may submit a short story up to 6,000 words.
Only previously unpublished work will be accepted.
The competition will be judged by Kristen Arnett.
You must use Submittable to submit your work.
The entry fee is $20.
