Who may enter
The competition is open to both U.S. and international writers.
Short description
The competition is organized by the Colorado State University’s Center for Literary Publishing.
The short stories must be previously unpublished. There are no theme restrictions, but stories should be at least 10 pages and under 50 pages.
This year’s final judge is Ramona Ausubel.
Entry fee
The entry fee is $17 per story.
Prize
$2,500 will be awarded for the winning short story, which will be published in the fall/winter 2022 issue of Colorado Review.
