Who may enter
The competition is open to anyone aged over 14.

Details
The contest is organised by the César Egido Serrano Foundation based in Madrid, Spain.

Writers from anywhere, welcome! The International Short Tales Contest, the world best gifted, is already open. In the last edition, more than 43,000 writers from 179 different countries participated, will we be able to overcome it?

Taking into account the objective of the Foundation, which is that the word is the tool of coexistence between different cultures, religions and ideologies, the VI Edition of competition is open, under the slogan: ”Faced with COVID; Solidarity and Resilience”.

Writers can enter the competition in Spanish, English, Arabic or Hebrew language, and the stories can only have a maximum of 100 words.

Entries must not have been previously published or have won a prize in another competition.

Entry fees 
The competition is free to enter.

Prizes
The overall winner will receive $20,000.
Three prizes of $2,000 each will be awarded for the best stories in each of the other remaining languages admitted in the contest, that are not winners of the main prize.
